This project was a development of the mark making project (Project 1 bellow) and looked at further developing my mark making techniques. I did this through creating three final self portraits directly by influenced three artists.
This double journal page documents the development of my ability to draw facial features. Once I practised in pencil, I then changed my medium; experimenting with colour pencils and crayons.
This is one of my final outcomes drawn in pen and adopts a Van Gogh stylistic to my mark making process.
This is another final piece, with a mixed media approach influenced by Christine Peloquin. This piece uses collage, stencils and thinner prints.
